provide infrastructure for the new development, there is likely another revenue shortfall that has to be paid from the county.
• In other states, TIFs are often designed to channel funding toward improvements in distressed, underdeveloped, or underutilized parts of an area where development might otherwise not occur. This may not be the more common reason in South Dakota for establishing the TIF. We all believe in economic development and bringing more jobs into our area, but we want a fair system which doesn't benefit one government entity to the detriment of another. True economic development must be a wise use of taxpayer's limited resources and mutually benefit the community of the new development as much as the private developer.

The recycling trailer is in Groton. It is located at the city shop at 10 East Railroad Ave. Don't forget, there is also a dumpster at the city shop for aluminum cans with the proceeds going to the pool.
