Widespread Winter Weather to Impact Areas from Upper Midwest to the Tennessee Valley through Friday
Snowfall will spread across the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes overnight, and then move into the Ohio Valley and Mid-Atlantic on Friday. Snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches are forecast, but higher elevations could see up to 10 inches. Farther south, freezing rain is likely for portions of the Tennessee Valley and the Carolinas starting early Friday morning.
