Wheeting. The Braves took a 20-17 lead at half time. In the second quarter, Groton made one of 15 field goals while the Braves made three of 10 field goals and two of three free throws. Groton had four turnovers in the second quarter, but the Braves were able to only get one point out of them. Britton-Hecla had one turnover.
• "In the second half, we moved Carly (Wheeting) to the perimeter," Wanner said. "She's a good perimeter shooter. We did a great job defending in the second half and we rebounded better. We caught them off guard with our man defense."
