• Both teams scored three field goals in the second quarter with the Tigers making two more than Oakes from the charity stripe as Groton took a 27-13 lead at halftime. In the second quarter, Groton made three of nine field goals, four of eight free throws and had three turnovers, one of which turned into three points for Oakes. Oakes made three of 17 field goals, two of four free throws and had two turnovers.
