Grapplers win pair of duals

• Groton's wrestling squad came home with a pair of dual wins at Mibank. Groton defeated Redfield-Doland, 41-35, and then edged out Milbank by a criteria decision, 43-42.
• Coach Chris Kucker had the following thoughts from the night: "We really had a good night out on the mat tonight. I challenged the kids to come out and compete hard tonight and they responded very well to the challenge. They wrestled very good against Redfield. Some of our younger wrestlers really came up big against them and came through with some big pins that we weren't sure which way the match would go.

•  "Our dual with Milbank was even more exciting. We lost a couple of heartbreakers that I would have liked to have seen go our way but we let them slip through our fingers. We also had some matches that we were not sure on again that we came out on top of and that was the difference in the match. We ended up winning the dual by criteria. It was a great dual that our kids that stepped on the mat came up big in.
