• Brewer broke his hip and ribs in the crash.
• Tribal spokeswoman Toni Red Cloud says that although Brewer will need surgery in the future for the broken hip, his doctors cleared him to be released Tuesday.

Sioux Falls man pleads guilty in meth conspiracy

• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- A Sioux Falls man accused in a conspiracy to bring methamphetamine from Arizona to South Dakota has pleaded guilty.
• Forty-six-year-old Darrel Hollingsworth faces at least five years in federal prison and as much as 40 years. He also could face a $5 million fine when he is sentenced April 8.
• U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says that Hollingsworth and a co-conspirator traveled to Arizona at least three times between August 2011 and January 2012 to obtain meth to sell in South Dakota. Johnson says others distributed the drugs, collected payments and gave the money to Hollingsworth.

New Sioux Falls school to be named for McGovern

• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- A new school in South Dakota's largest city will be named for one of the state's most influential politicians.
• A public middle school set to open in Sioux Falls in August 2014 is being named after the late George McGovern. School district officials approved the move this week.
• The former U.S. senator and unsuccessful 1972 Democratic nominee for president died last October, at the age of 90. The school naming committee cited his work to fight world hunger, including helping establish school lunch programs in poor nations.

Iowa woman sentenced for South Dakota bank robbery

• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- An Iowa woman who taped fake dynamite to her body before robbing a South Dakota bank has been sentenced to three years in federal prison.
