• Groton controlled the tip, but two Groton turnovers turned into five points as Milbank took a quick 5-0 lead. The Lady Tigers battled back to within one, 6-5, but Milbank took a 10-7 lead at the end of the first quarter.
• In the first quarter, Groton had five turnovers which turned into seven points for Milbank and the Bulldogs had four turnovers which converted to two points for Groton. The Tigers were three of 15 from the field and the Bulldogs were three of 14. Groton was one of two from the line and Milbank was three of four.
• The Bulldogs went on a rally in the second quarter and opened up a 15-7 lead,
