Winter Storm Continues to Impact the Northern and Central U.S. this Morning; Severe Weather Threat
Farther South this Afternoon.

• The winter storm in the Central U.S. will continue through midday, bringing snow and strong winds to portions of the Northern Plains and Central Plains. Bitterly cold temperatures will fill in behind the storm system with dangerous wind chills. As the system pushes southward, severe weather will become a possibility from the Texas Gulf Coast to the Mid-Mississippi Valley this afternoon.
