Another mild day is in store as warm air surges northward ahead of an approaching storm system. Areas of light rain will move into eastern South Dakota late this afternoon and persist into this evening. Freezing rain is possible late tonight as some locations drop to 32 degrees or below. A much stronger storm system is still on track to bring snow to the region Friday afternoon into Saturday.
