• There were several parts of the project and Mayor Roy Olson proceeded with the hearing by starting in the north at Sixth Street and 16^th Avenue and moving south all the way to Fifth Avenue and Railroad Avenue. A number of residents show up at the hearing. Many were in favor of the project, but a main concern was drainage in the Fifth Avenue area. Olson said they are looking into options to improve drainage and it could add $50,000 to $60,000 to the project. One option is to put storm drain in at all four corners of Fifth Avenue and Fifth Street and drain it to Fourth Street. A smaller culvert will be added under Sixth Street. In addition, the steel culverts in the area would be change out to new concrete ones. It's all about the drainage, Council
