Lazy Farmers 4-H December Meeting

• The December meeting of the Lazy Farmers was held on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at the Jungle Lanes in Groton following our Christmas party of bowling and pizza. 
• The pledge of allegiance was led by Makayla Jones and the 4-H pledge was led by Brooklyn Gilbert.  Roll call topic was "where will you spend Christmas?".  Kelby, Claire, and Kayde were guests at our Christmas party and meeting. 
• The November Secretaries minutes were read by Alexandra Stange and a motion was made by Tara Telkamp and second by Maryn Howard. The minutes were approved.  The Treasurer's report was given by Lexi Gustafson, and a motion was made by Maryn Howard and second by Kari Hanson, the report was approved . Outstanding bills include: scholarships and Threshing Bee bills.  A motion was made by Tara Telkamp to give a $75 donation to the Groton Community Center and second by Maryn Howard.  The motion was approved.
• Old Business included any community service projects completed by members during the month of November; Tara Telkamp provided 20 hours of service to the Humane Society, Parade of Lights and senior citizens.  Tessa Erdmann volunteered during a Humane Society fundraiser.  A reminder that once you are registered online, you need to go back and enroll in your project areas for the current 4-H year.
• New Business included; A total of a $105 monetary donation and many gifts were collected from members for ASPIRE, which was the organization chosen by Brown County 4-H to support this holiday season.  Hanson's volunteered to deliver gifts to the court house in Aberdeen.  The December Newshound was read by presi
