• Six grapplers placed at the 16th Annual Miller-Highmore/Harrold Invitational wrestling tournament held Saturday in Miller. As a team, Groton placed fourth among a team of 11 teams. Howard won the tournament with 170.5 points followed by Faulkton with 153, McCook Central/Montrose had 141 and Groton edged out the host team by a half point to finish fourth with 115 points.
• Kelby Hawkins placed first, Dalton Locke took second in a heartbreaker double overtime loss in the championship match, Brook Anderson placed second, Rayce Harder and Tyler Scott both took third and Trenton Duncan placed fourth.
