Lady Cavaliers outshoot Tigers

• Low shooting percentage and a bad third quarter proved to be the down fall of the Lady Tigers in Thursday's match up against their arch rivals, as the Roncalli Cavaliers won 51-37.
• Groton was unable to control the jump and Roncalli was on the boards first with a field goal by Mollee Karst. Roncalli added three more field goals during the first quarter, two of them 3-pointers, one each by Tage Hanson and Taylor Hanson. Groton was able to put four points on the board with free throws by Halle Dohman and Kylie Hawkins. Courtney Kurtz narrowed the gap with a 3-pointer. The first quarter ended with Groton down by three points, 10-7.
