A cold, arctic airmass will remain over the area for the next several days. A weak disturbance will produce a chance for light snow over central South Dakota late this afternoon into tonight. Snowfall accumulations should remain light. Very cold temperatures combined with northerly winds of 5 to 10 mph will produce dangerously cold wind chills tonight into Christmas morning.
