• Groton held their lead in the third quarter, scoring another 15 points; nine of those points were scored in the last two minutes of the quarter and were unanswered points. Unfortunately, the Cardinals had come out the locker room ready to

play and had already cut down the Tiger lead. The third quarter ended with Groton still on top, 35-30.
• The Cardinals continued to cut into the Lady Tiger lead during the fourth quarter. Groton fouls gave Deuel seven trips to the charity strip where they sank seven out of 12 attempts. The Cardinals were able to gain a five point lead before Halle Dohman hit a field goal at the buzzer cutting the lead to only three points. The final score of the game was 46-43, Cardinals.
• Carly Wheeting came off the bench to be Groton's leading scorer with 14 points. Others socring were Camille Sippel with nine, Kylie Hawkins seven, Courtney Kurtz had five and Halle Dohman and Tori Bjerke each had four.
