Turner County Sheriff's awarded $15K grant

• PIERRE, S.D. (AP) -- The Turner County Sheriff's Office has been awarded $15,000 to purchase a new vehicle to be used in drug investigations.
• Attorney General Marty Jackley announced that the money was awarded out of the Drug Control Fund. The award will assist local law enforcement in drug control and apprehension purposes.
• Jackley says the Drug Control Fund allows law enforcement across the state to request funds to offset expenses that arise from drug control efforts.
