Christmas Cantata may be the last

• For over 20 years Groton has been blessed with wonderful music at Christmas time, but that may change as Arlis Doeden steps down as the director of the Christmas Cantata.
• The Christmas Cantata started in 1989 and has told the Christmas story through song every year since then. It has become a Christmas tradition for the Groton community and for Doeden who has directed every performance. And this Christmas, she will do it again before stepping down as the director.
• This year's Cantata is entitled "Down from the Glory" and will feature a 30 member choir, nine instrumentalists and a 13 member children's choir, in two per
