• The Groton Firemen have elected new officers for the upcoming year. Dion Bahr will remain as Fire Chief. Tom Tietz will remain as assistant chief and Ryan Kutter will remain as second assistant chief. Laef Johnson will be the new First Captain and training officer, Mike Ewalt as the second captain and maintenance officer and Jesse Anderson as third captain and second maintenance officer. President will be Eric Moody and Dave Beckler will be the vice president. Patti Woods remains as the secretary/treasurer.
