• Those are the recommendations that the Governor's Primary Care Task Force presented to Gov. Dennis Daugaard.
• The group was created in May to figure out how to train more health care providers for rural areas of the state.
• The 25-member task force has also recommended that Daugaard appoint an oversight committee to monitor progress and report to him, the Board of Regents and the Legislature.

SD man gets jail for secret video recording

• WATERTOWN, S.D. (AP) -- A 35-year-old Watertown man has been sentenced to 45 days in jail on charges he took a video without consent.
• Codington County deputy states attorney Patrick McCann tells KWAT radio that Fredrick Strasser recorded a 23-year-old woman through closed circuit TV over several months while she was Strasser's roommate.
• McCann says Strasser placed a video camera in a vent in the bathroom and recorded several tapes before being discovered by another roommate.
• Judge LeAnn Pierce sentenced Strasser to 45 days in jail, a $500 fine and restitution of $1,000 to the victim for rent she had paid.
• A lawyer for Strasser did not immediately return a message seeking comment.

The Nature Conservancy sells ranch in western SD

• CUSTER, S.D. (AP) -- The Nature Conservancy says it has sold a 1,125-acre ranch in Custer County to a private buyer with safeguards to ensure the land remains in native prairie and maintains its ranching tradition.
• The Lame Johnny Creek Ranch is nestled between Custer State Park and Wind Cave National Park. The Nature Conservancy bought it a few years ago to make sure it was conserved, and began raising bison there in 2005 to help establish new herds on native prairies in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Mexico.
• Under the sale to the private buyer, the conservation group maintains a permanent easement restricting future development. The Nature Conservancy also will maintain its bison herd there for several years.
• The buyer and the sales price weren't immediately disclosed.
