• Michelle Barrow of Groton on December 17, 2012 claimed her $5,001 Wild Card 2 prize from the December 15, 2012 drawing. Barrow matched five of five white ball numbers but missed the Wild Card to hit the game's $5,000 second prize, and also matched two of five white ball numbers and the Wild Card on another play line of the same ticket for an additional $1. The odds of winning $5,000 playing Wild Card 2 are 1:90,619.
• Barrow purchased her winning Quick Pick ticket at Ken's Food Fair in Groton. She says she regularly buys lotto tickets at the store, usually for Wild Card 2 and Powerball drawings, but told the clerk when she picked up tickets for last Saturday's drawing, "I feel lucky." The store will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
• Wild Card 2 is played only in Idaho, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota. The jackpot currently sits at $445,000 for the next drawing on Wednesday, December 19, 2012.

• Ten members of the Rip 'n Ravel CFEL Club met at the home of Linda Gengerke on December 3 for a Christmas social.
• Christmas readings were shared for the program followed by a gift exchange. A delicious lunch was served by the hostess.
