• As an added bonus, each child attending the event had their name entered in a drawing for $10 in Groton Bucks. Ten children were announced as winners, they were Heath Long, Tern Jandel, Kasandra Pappas, Keira Weismantel, Jordan Bjerke, Katlyn Kyar, Skylar Kramer, Logan Warrington, Isabela Whitehouse and Jardan Vargass.
• Alyssa Sippel and Jamie Krueger were also named as winners; their names were drawn from the group of people who volunteered their time to help with the event. The adults also had an opportunity to have their names drawn for $50 in Chamber Bucks. The winners were Dick Kolker and Jan Hoffman.
• As part of the Shop Groton promotion, parents could drop off their children at the Santa event and register to win $100 in Groton Bucks. Participants then went to one of the many participating business in Groton and had their flyer validated. Once they had their flyer validated by 10 businesses, they could turn in the flyer for the drawing. The winner of the $100 was Jayme Overacker.
