• Redfield/Doland handed the Lady Tigers their first defeat of the season Friday night in Groton Arena as the Pheasants won, 40-27.
• The Pheasants had the jump advantage was unable to use it. Camille Sippel sank the first basket in the game with a minute 30 seconds off the clock. The first quarter was fairly even for both sides. Redfield had a slight lead when the quarter ended, 10-8.
• Kylie Hawkins started the second quarter off with a basket to tie up the score, but then Groton shooting went flat as they were unable to score again until the final two
