A system moving northeast toward Minnesota will spread freezing rain across much of northeast South Dakota today. That freezing rain could accumulate up to around two tenths of an inch in some spots before turning over to sleet and snow. Roads will likely become slick and remain that way well into the evening hours. Most of the precipitation should be ending around or shortly after sunset.
