Winter Storm Moving Through the Upper Midwest

• Blizzard Warnings are in effect today across the northern plains as heavy snow and strong winds move through the region. Snowfall amounts of up to 8 inches are likely across the Dakotas, and winds will create blowing and drifting snow that will make travel dangerous. Accumulations of up to a foot are possible farther east into parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin.
