• A significant blast of winter weather is forecast for portions of the north-central U.S. this weekend. The heaviest snow will occur from the Dakotas into Minnesota where 6 to 10 inches will be possible. In addition, winds gusting to over 40 mph will create whiteout conditions making travel treacherous.
