being and development in addition to their academic achievement.
• As we approach the Thanksgiving season, I am thankful for the opportunity to work for a community interested in and committed to its young people.  Our students are the key to our future, both locally and globally.  I'm thankful also for the professional educators who work diligently to give their students opportunities for growth.  My favorite question during this time of the year is "What if I didn't have today what I failed to give thanks for yesterday?"  An attitude of gratitude can brighten the day for so many people.  Happy Thanksgiving to you all.
• As always, if you have questions or concerns that need to be addressed, please do not hesitate to contact me.
• Sincerely,
• Joe Schwan

Greetings! It has already been a very busy year! It's hard to believe that we are preparing for the Christmas concert!

Dr. Wendy van Gent from Northern State University was the guest conductor. After that, we began working on Christmas music for our concert on Thursday, December 6.
