• The class was very involved in the election process this year with discussions and research on the candidates and issues on the ballot.
• We have been using several websites to enhance learning. The best is a website developed by former U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor. The site was developed by Mrs. O'Connor in 2009 as an effort to create knowledgeable and engaged citizens as we move forward in the 21st century.
• The class discusses current events and especially stories that involved some type of government action. It has been a very exciting year so far thanks to the election and all of that went with it.

• Multi-Media - Ms. Coyne
There are currently seven students enrolled in the multi-media class.  In this class we have been working with various presentation formats, photo editing, and currently are beginning to design personal web pages.  Students have started to embrace Cloud based software such as Goanimate, and Prezi.  They have also spent time learning and using Photoshop to refurbish old pictures and create modern advertising.  Currently students are using Dreamweaver to create personal pages that will hopefully go live around Christmas break.  So stay tuned!
