• Barb and Tom Paepke, along with all of their recruits, gave up their Thanksgiving Day by giving to others at the community Thanksgiving Day dinner. The event was held at the Groton Community Center.
• Barb Paepke said that she enjoys putting on the event to help others. "We even had 12 home deliveries today," she said. "That's 12 people who got a Thanksgiving meal that otherwise wouldn't have had one." There were about 38 that had preregistered for the event.
• There was a free-will offering which goes to the Groton Crisis Fund.
