• Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for portions of the Upper Midwest and Upper Great Lakes. A strong storm system moving through the area is forecast to bring widespread snowfall totals of 1 to 3 inches, with up to 8 inches possible in portions of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Wind gusts reaching 50 mph will also cause blowing snow to limit visibility at times.
