2 women arrested for prostitution in S. Dakota

• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- Sioux Falls police say two women have been arrested on charges related to prostitution.
• Local media report that the women were arrested after authorities received a tip about 6 p.m. on Sunday of an online ad offering sexual services in Sioux Falls. A detective answered the ad and arranged for a meeting at a motel in Sioux Falls.
• Sioux Falls police spokesman says a 22-year-old woman arrived at the motel and was arrested on prostitution charges. A 33-year-old woman who drove the other woman was also arrested on a charge of pimping.

NDSU gets first-round bye in FCS playoffs

• FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- Top-ranked North Dakota State has drawn the top seed for the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs and could meet one of its rivals in the second round.
• The defending national champion Bison (10-1) will not have to leave Fargo for the playoffs, unless they earn a return trip to the national championship game on Jan. 5, in Frisco, Texas. NDSU also gets a bye week for the first round of the playoffs.
• "For me and a couple of the offensive linemen and I know the linebackers, just to get healed up and rested -- another couple of days really does play an important role in having that extra spark," center Joe Lund told WDAY-TV.
• NDSU's second-round opponent at the Fargodome on Dec. 1 will be the winner of the first-round game this Saturday between South Dakota State (8-3) and Eastern Illinois (7-4). That game is at SDSU.
• NDSU beat SDSU 20-17 earlier this month in Fargo.
• NDSU remains the No. 1 team in this week's Sports Network poll after a 38-20 win over Illinois State over the weekend. SDSU moves up two spots to No. 19 after a 31-8 win over South Dakota.
• "Some programs would be giddy, thinking they accomplished something," Jackrabbits coach John Stiegelmeier told the Argus Leader newspaper. "All we have is an opportunity to accomplish something. I told (the team) that and nobody went, 'uh huh.' It was, 'We know, coach.'"
• NDSU won the FCS title last season with a 17-6 victory over Sam Houston State in the championship game.
