Cold Front Weakening Across the Eastern U.S. as
Another Weather System
Impacts the West

• The cold front that brought active weather to the central U.S. on Sunday is weakening as it enters the eastern third of the nation. Associated with this front, showers will extend from the Gulf Coast to New England today, with scattered thunderstorms in the South. The next weather system to impact the country is coming ashore in the Pacific Northwest, bringing gusty winds and mountain snow.
