SF Washington beats Brandon Valley for 11AA title
• VERMILLION, S.D. (AP) -- Sioux Falls Washington overshadowed a record-setting performance by Brandon Valley quarterback Chase Marso on Saturday, beating the Lynx 35-20 in the South Dakota 11AA high school title game.
• Sam Cooke, Nate Gerry and Dan Marlette all ran for touchdowns and Zac Freese picked up a teammate's fumble and ran 55 yards to score.
• Washington won its third title in its sixth-straight title game appearance.
• Marso was 34-for-64 for 454 yards and two touchdowns, and set records for completion, attempts and yards. Receiver Nate Winter had a record 11 catches for 139 yards.
• Trailing 20-14 late in the third quarter, the Warriors (12-0) scored on three straight possessions midway through the fourth quarter.
• Brandon Valley had no rushing yards on 17 carries, while Washington ran for 328 yards.


North Dakota State beats South Dakota State 20-17

• FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- North Dakota State shut down South Dakota State's offense and the leading rusher in the division with a 20-17 victory Saturday that clinched at least a share of the Missouri Valley Football Conference title.
• The Bison (9-1, 6-1) limited the Jackrabbits to 209 yards of total offense and held Zach Zenner to 43 yards rushing, both season lows. Zenner came in leading the Football Championship Subdivision in rushing with an average of 166 yards per game.
