Powerful Cold Front Bringing Active Weather to the Central United States

• A strong cold front sweeping through the Plains will bring unseasonably cold temperatures and gusty winds this weekend. Ahead of the front, severe thunderstorms will be possible from the Southern Plains to the Lower Mississippi Valley by Sunday afternoon.
