While a winter storm rages in the western U.S., the eastern U.S. will be warming up. Heavy snow, strong winds, and plummeting temperatures will be the norm for much of the West over the next couple of days. Meanwhile, temperatures will steadily climb across the eastern U.S. with daytime highs in portions of the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic nearing the mid-60s by Saturday.
