BDM Water and holds 35,000 gallons of water. The new system is completely computerized with three pumps to help move the water. This replaces the old system that was starting to have problems and was at the end of its usefulness.
• "The system was starting to have rust issues and some of the pipes were in need of replacement," Johnson said. "With the help of the grant, it seemed a better idea to replace everything, than to wait and have major problems later."
• In order to qualify for the grant, Pierpont residents agreed to a $9/month rate increase. This increase has been in effect since January 2012, giving the town a jumpstart on raising the necessary funds for the project. The total cost
