Rubble Site fees to remain unchanged

• The 2013 rubble site permits will remain the same price as what they were in 2012 and will close on November 15, 2012, for the season. Appointments to gain access to the rubble site can be made at city hall.

• The second reading of the Sunday Sales for off-sale liquor and wine was given second reading at the Groton City Council Meeting held Monday night. They clarified the hours at 7 a.m. to Midnight. It will go in effect 20 days after publication. The on-sale liquor license renewals were all approved for the upcoming year.
• Cheri Strom has requested a special parking place in front of her building on Main Street, formerly Wally's Barber Shop. The special parking place request was for senior citizens and handicapped people. It was referred to the street committee of Doug Hamilton
