Significant Storm Appears Likely for Latter Half of the Work Week in the Northeast U.S.

While there is still some uncertainty regarding the exact track and timing of a coastal storm in the Northeast U.S., substantial impacts are possible, many of which will be exacerbated by the damage caused by Sandy. Potential impacts include high winds, coastal flooding and beach erosion, localized flooding from heavy rain and interior wet snow capable of power outages and hazardous travel.
