enhancing behaviors and health risks that affect them as teenagers.  Student's will be learning about the importance of mental, physical, and social health behaviors that effect us in our society today.  We will be studying topics such as Health and Wellness, Nutrition, Stress, Infectious Diseases, Lifestyle Diseases, Hereditary Diseases, Weight Management and Eating Disorders.  We will evaluate strategies for achieving and maintaining personal health goals.  We also study the role of personal responsibility in health-related decisions.  We will conclude this semester learning about the family, and community health and why those areas of health are important.

9th Grade PE:  2nd Semester - Mr. Wanner
• Second semester in Physical Education student's will be learning and participating in various lifetime activities.  We will be participating in activities such as badminton, pickle-ball, soccer, volleyball, handball, tennis, golf, archery, and circuit training development.  All these activities, student's will be tested on rules and grades are also based on participation.

Introduction to Agriculture - Mr. Franken
• The freshmen students are discussing leadership skills and parliamentary procedure.  The intro to ag class has been using these newly discovered skills to recite the FFA Creed to their fellow classmates. Following the unit on the FFA Creed, the students will be learning how to properly run and manage a meeting using parliamentary procedure.

Environmental Science - Mr. Franken
• The sophomores recently competed in the regional land judging contest in Webster.  Here the students used their skills learned in class to evaluate the usefulness of land for farming and agriculture.  Now the students are discussing and identifying wildlife found in South Dakota.  We will take a look at birds, mammals, and fish and
