cabulary terms and at the end of each quarter have a cumulative test.  Students participate in several hands-on activities such as labs, projects, and group activities.  During the year, students will continue to conduct scientific lab experiments including using the microscope and dissecting.   Each student is asked to keep a notebook of health science terms, science test practice questions, and health science clinical reviews.

6th Grade Art - Janene Harry
• The third group of 6th graders is just finishing the quarter. It seems like they are adjusting rapidly to the "Big School" atmosphere. During this first quarter, they are being introduced to basic art skills: draw light, look at shapes and sizes for proportions and filling color in evenly. The first project was a Bookmark they created and then it was laminated, next was their own creation of an Alien/Monster on large paper and finished with a Mola project. They are eager to learn new things.

They will create a three dimensional project and learn how to fire and glaze their works in the kiln.
