• Emergency responders were dispatched west of Groton on US Highway 12 near the James Cemetery just after 5 pm on Friday for a two vehicle accident.
• It this time it is unknown what caused the collision between the car and pick-up. Both vehi

cles were damaged, but no injuries were reported. The names of the drivers were withheld.
• "There was no fire when we arrived," Groton Fire Chief Dion Bahr said. "There was only the two drivers, no passengers, and both drivers refused medical attention."
• Responding to the call was Groton Fire Department, Groton Rescue, Groton Police Department, the State Highway Patrol and the Brown County Sheriff's office.
