• Feeding South Dakota distributes 12.2 million pounds of food annually, feeding over 100,000 individuals in need in all 66 of South Dakota's counties.  Nearly half of the individuals served by Feeding South Dakota are infants and children.
• To contribute as an individual, family, with friends, or as a workplace, bring turkeys and ingredients to make traditional Thanksgiving side dishes, such as stuffing, green bean casserole, or pumpkin pie, to one of three Food Bank facilities or visit www.feedingsouthdakota.org/news-events/press-releases/turkeys-for-families-in-need for more information.  Every donation will make a traditional Thanksgiving meal possible for a hungry child, senior, and family in need.

• About Feeding South Dakota
• Feeding South Dakota is the state's largest charitable hunger relief organization whose

mission is to eliminate hunger in South Dakota with distribution centers in Sioux Falls, Pierre and Rapid City. In 2011, Feeding South Dakota secured and distributed 12.2 million pounds of quality nutritious donated and purchased food, along with other surplus items through a network of over 450 charitable organizations across the state. These organizations then provide this food to individuals who are "food insecure" through on-site feeding programs, emergency food pantries, after school programs and mass distribution programs.  For more information on Feeding South Dakota, please visit www.feedingsouthdakota.org.
