concert at Northwestern.  Harley Gibbs, Yvonne's grandson participated in the baritone section.  The following week Yvonne attended the Junior High Choral Festival in Britton.  The concerts were both very enjoyable.
•Jim and Carrie Walton of Hecla will be celebrating their 25th Wedding Anniversary.  An open house party will be held at the bar in Hecla from 4pm until closing on November 10th.  Be sure to join them and wish them well. Congratulations Jim and Carrie!
•Carol and Barney Hanse and Mark, Mason, Molly, and Braven Hanse traveled to Sioux  Falls this past weekend to relax and spend some time visiting with Haley Flipse and the Cory and Gina Vinz family.
•  I ended up doing a bit of touring at Medora ND this weekend and then traveled into SD and took a look at the faces carved in the mountain at Mt Rushmore.  It's been a very long time since I had been to that part of South Dakota so it was a quite enjoyable weekend.  The weather was perfect for traveling and the photo opportunities were limitless!  The last time I was there I was about 37 years younger and for some reason things didn't seem quite as breath taking as they did this time.  I am quite sure my pictures won't be able to capture the essence of how I felt when I snapped the shutter button but the memories will stay vibrant in my mind for years to come.  It's funny how a little break from the day to day routine can put things back in perspective.  I'm ready to take on the world yet again!
•As I end this weeks' news from Claremont I'd like to wish each and every one of you a safe and Happy Halloween.  Be sure to let me know if you have some news you'd like to share.  My phone number is 605-294-6272 during the day.   You can also email me at btschudar@yahoo.com.
