also uses it for the summer recreational soccer program. There was also nothing in the agreement about the use of utilities or the warming house. The board felt that their agreement with the GSA may need to be reworked before signing the lease agreement with the city.
• The Groton Youth Rally Committee will again have use of the GHS Arena free of charge to hold the youth rally on November 14.
• Approval was given by the board to hire one and to accept the resignation of another. Whitney Daly resigned as the OST coordinator and Becky Sjerven was hired as the kindergarten para-professional to assist Ann Gibbs.
• During the program overviews, Athletic Director Brian Schuring spoke on some of the needs of the sports programs. Two of the larger projects are the need for a new crow's nest/press box and a new scoreboard on the football field.
•  The current box is too small to hold everyone, especially on the nights when more than one radio station/media is covering the game. The box is also unstable in some of high winds the field has experienced. Schuring would like to see a press box/score room added to the bleachers with the two ends containing box suites that could be rented or leased has a fundraiser. This option of added a press box was part of the original bleachers project that was put on hold.
• The football scoreboard is also in need of an upgrade. It has been awhile since the board was installed and a new one will be needed within the next couple of years. Schuring also mentioned that the track will need to be resurfaced in the next couple of years as well. More than likely the whole track will need to be pealed up
