Lady Tigers beat Hamlin in fifth game

• Friday proved to be a tough night of volleyball as the Groton Lady Tigers took on the Hamlin Chargers. The game was tied up at two games apiece, forcing a fifth game, which the Lady Tigers won. The final scores were 25-21, 24-26, 24-31, 25-19 and 15-13.
• The Lady Tigers were able to show off some new skills in mixing up the returns and using ball placement to their best advantage.
• "We're improving with each game," Head Coach Aaron Helvig said. "We've been working on ball placement and thinking smart on our hitting. After losing two close games, we were able
