principals, as one component of the state's new school accountability system. The state is replacing No Child Left Behind with a state-created system that will create better student assessments and measure schools on a variety of factors.

Fact 6 -Several advisory committees are created to allow for more input from educators as these programs are implemented over the next three school years.

Fact 7- Once fully implemented, these proposals will be funded by the state at a level of $15 million a year, on top of regular formula funding for K-12 education. The money will go directly to the individual teachers, above and beyond their salary paid by the school district.
A vote "Yes" is to enact the education reform act. A vote "No" is against the referred law.
