Corps holding meetings on Missouri River plan

• BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) -- The Army Corps of Engineers is holding meetings in the Dakotas on its proposed operating plan for the Missouri River for the coming year.
• Meetings are scheduled Oct. 30 in the North Dakota capital of Bismarck and the South Dakota capital of Pierre. They're among six meetings in five states over four days.
• Corps officials will discuss the proposed operating plan and then field questions and comments.
• The Bismarck meeting is at 1 p.m. at the Civic Center. The Pierre meeting is at 7 p.m. at the Ramkota Hotel.
