Zoo's Eastern Black Rhino celebrating 2nd birthday

• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- The Great Plains Zoo is celebrating the second birthday of Kiano, an Eastern Black Rhino calf.
• The 1:30 p.m. party on Saturday feature a zookeeper chat and treats as visitors watch Kiano devour his own special "cake."
• Kiano was born weighing almost 93 pounds as one of four Eastern Black Rhino calves born in 2010. He now tips the scales at around 900 pounds.
• The Great Plains Zoo has three of the fewer than 65 Eastern Black Rhinos in captivity in Association of Zoos and Aquariums accredited facilities.
• Zoo President and CEO Elizabeth Whealy says there are fewer than 4,000 Black Rhinos surviving in the wild
