O'Gorman beats both Groton teams in state soccer
Both of Groton's soccer teams qualified for the first State Soccer Tournament, now that the sport is sanctioned by the South Dakota High School Activities Assoc., this week in Aberdeen. The Lady Tigers played first, going up against Sioux Falls O'Gorman in game two of the semifinals. The Lady Tigers were unable to overcome a three point lead set by the Lady Knights. They will play in the consolation game on Friday at 1 pm against St. Thomas Moore.
