Early Season Winter Storm Moving into the Upper Midwest

An early-season winter storm that brought record snows to Montana today will strengthen and move into the Upper Midwest tonight and tomorrow. Snow is forecast to move into northwest Minnesota overnight. Strong winds are also forecast with this system with blowing and drifting snow possible. Maximum total accumulations approaching 12 inches are forecast by Thursday night.
