Early Season Snowstorm Moves into the Northern Rockies

Cold air spreads into the Northern Rockies in Montana tonight and Wednesday as a cold front pushes through the area. Along with these cold temperatures, significant snows are likely in the mountains with a rain/snow mix likely in the warmer valleys. Up to 8 inches of snow is possible in the highest elevations by the time the storm moves into the Northern Plains.
